I loved that I could take a short stroll to St Winifred's Well, just a few steps away, and the beautiful nearby Cheshire Wildlife Trust added to my weekend exploration of nature, making my stay truly enjoyable with a comfortable room that exceeded my expectations and a lovely courtyard area that created a charming atmosphere. however, the breakfast could use a little more variety.

great staff but more attention to room cleanliness needed
The staff were attentive and genuinely caring during our stay. They went above and beyond to accommodate our puppy, even moving us to a quieter table to keep her calm.
Room cleanliness left something to be desired, particularly in the corners.

Charming, Charming, Charming
I truly enjoyed the beautifully decorated King Room, which was cozy yet luxurious! The stunning garden courtyard was perfect for sipping morning coffee while soaking in nature. And let's not forget the exceptional breakfast, featuring fresh, local produce that was absolutely delicious!

missingWrote a review on Jun 13delicious breakfastcozy family roomslow servicelow shower pressure
The breakfast offerings had the potential to be a real treat, with a solid menu featuring good local fare that had us buzzing! The Deluxe Twin Room was just what we needed for our family stay, comfortable and well-equipped. Plus, we enjoyed the room’s privacy, tucked away from the main inn.
But, we hit a few bumps! The poor service led to a long wait for our order, and the shower pressure was barely a trickle. Things could've been better, especially with a bit more attention to detail.
